Classes
Sherith Israel offers a wide range of educational opportunities for adults of ages and backgrounds. Rabbi Saul, Cantor Lieberman, and Moreh Nechemya teach classes that explore the weekly Torah portion and Haftarah, the Talmud, and the meaning of Shabbat and holiday prayers. Additionally, when individuals are interested in learning to lead a particular part of the service (or read Torah or Haftarah), the clergy are available to help guide this experience.
SHABBAT MORNING CLASSES
Early Bird Torah (Cantor Lieberman)
Shabbat Mornings, 8-9 am
Course Description: Begin your Shabbat on the right note for some early morning Torah study and discussion.
Cantor's Class
Shabbat Afternoons, 1 pm
Course Description: Food for Thought on the weekly Torah portion drawing on Midrashic and Talmudic commentaries.

Nashville Bass Midrash
Wednesday Nights, 8 - 9:30 pm
Moreh Nechemya leads a weekly exploration of an exciting Jewish topic drawing on classical and contemporary sources. Torah, drinks, and refreshments!
