Rimon Preschool

Opening January 2026, Sherith Israel’s new Reggio Emilia inspired Rimon Jewish preschool invites our youngest community members into a joyful, curiosity-driven world where every child is celebrated as capable, creative, and full of endless potential.

Rooted in the child-centered principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and infused with the beauty, rhythms, and values of Jewish life, our preschool is a place where wonder leads the way. Here, learning is hands-on, joyful, and meaningful.

Children explore through play, imagination, and discovery, guided by caring educators who learn with them and help spark new ideas. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed as “third teachers,” filled with natural materials, open-ended invitations to explore, and spaces that encourage collaboration, reflection, and creativity. Families are part of the journey too, with rich communication that highlights each child’s growth, questions, and emerging passions.

Jewish life comes alive every day in ways that feel warm, natural, and exciting. We celebrate Shabbat and holidays with song and story, embrace core Jewish values like kindness and gratitude, and help children connect their own wonderings to the stories and traditions of our people. Together with families, we are creating a vibrant, inclusive community where every child shines, and we can’t wait to welcome you in January 2026.

The Rimon Preschool will initially serve children 6 weeks - 30 months, eventually serving children up to 5 years of age. Hours from January 2026 will be 8 am - 4 pm and beginning August 2026, will be from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.
